Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer (m/f/d) to join our R&D team and help shape the next generation of digital solutions for the NACOS Marine portfolio.
In this role, you will develop modern, secure, and user-friendly web applications, combining intuitive front-end experiences with scalable backend solutions.
Working closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers, you will ensure our web-based products deliver exceptional usability while adhering to the highest standards of cybersecurity, performance, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop modern, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces for NACOS Marine digital productsBuild and maintain secure, scalable web backend solutions using modern architectures and technologiesCollaborate closely with UX Designers to transform wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into high-quality user experiencesDevelop interactive features and ensure consistent visual design across applicationsContribute to software architecture and backend design using modern cloud and containerization technologiesWork closely with Product Management, UX, and Software Development teams throughout the product lifecycleMaintain and evolve design systems, coding standards, and reusable componentsProduce and maintain technical documentation, development guidelines, and best practicesEnsure web applications comply with cybersecurity, performance, and quality requirementsStay up to date with emerging web technologies, development frameworks, and industry best practices
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Web Development, Design, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in web application development, including both frontend and backend technologiesStrong experience with C#/.NET development and JavaScriptExperience with modern frontend frameworks and design tools such as React, Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping toolsExperience developing scalable backend solutions using Microsoft Azure and containerization technologies such as DockerKnowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development best practicesUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles and secure software development practicesStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in an agile development environmentExcellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary and international teamsExperience within Operational Technology (OT), industrial automation, or maritime environments is an advantageFluent in English, both written and spoken
