Role Description This is a full-time, on-site FrontEnd Engineer role based in Berlin, Germany.
The FrontEnd Engineer will design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for the HexBau platform, ensuring a clean, intuitive, and responsive user experience across devices.
Daily tasks include implementing new features, optimizing existing components, collaborating with product and UX/UI teams, and integrating front-end components with back-end services.
The role also involves troubleshooting UI issues, improving performance, and participating in code reviews and technical discussions to maintain high development standards.
The engineer will contribute to translating complex industrial workflows into clear, usable digital interfaces for project stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.Experience in Responsive Web Design and creating accessible, cross-browser compatible interfaces.Solid understanding of Web Development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and client-side performance optimization.Knowledge of Software Development practices, including version control, testing, and agile methodologies.Familiarity with Back-End Web Development concepts and RESTful APIs to effectively integrate front-end and back-end systems.Relevant experience as a FrontEnd Engineer or similar role; experience in B2B or industrial SaaS products is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
