# Senior/Staff Backend Engineer ## About the Role Nexthink is looking for a complex technical problems, collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture teams, and influencing technology and engineering practices. You will **Senior/Staff Backend Engineer** with strong **Java** expertise and a passion for building scalable, resilient distributed systems. You will help design, build, test, and deliver large-scale cloud-native services that process billions of events while contributing to the evolution of Nexthink’s data platform and digital employee experience technology. This role is suited to an experienced backend engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture teams, and influencing technology and engineering practices.
