The solution supports a structured two-stage approval process involving both construction management and EHS, helping teams maintain compliance and safety standards. HexWorld Solutions GmbH is headquartered in Dresden, Germany, and serves industrial clients seeking efficient, transparent project coordination. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front-End Engineer role based in Berlin, Germany. The Front-End Engineer will design, implement, and maintain user interfaces for the HexBau platform, focusing on usability, performance, and responsive behavior across devices. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating product requirements and UX designs into clean, modular code; collaborating with back-end engineers to integrate APIs; and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards. The role also involves participating in code reviews, optimizing front-end performance, troubleshooting UI issues, and contributing to continuous improvements in the overall web application architecture. This position works closely with product managers and stakeholders to deliver features that support industrial site management and EHS workflows. Qualifications Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and core technologies such as HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.Experience in Responsive Web Design and building adaptive interfaces that function reliably across browsers and devices.Solid Web Development and Software Development skills, including version control (Git), testing, debugging, and adherence to clean code practices.Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts and RESTful APIs to effectively collaborate with server-side engineers.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Familiarity with accessibility standards, performance optimization, and security best practices in front-end applications.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical concepts clearly.Professional proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.Previous experience with industrial, construction, or EHS-related software is a plus.
