Here is one way to do that. The role As a Deployment Engineer, you get customers live. You will sit alongside Account Executives through complex deal cycles, run technical proofs of concept, and then build what each customer needs to launch: integrations to their transaction systems, custom modules, and prompt and model tuning so the AI performs the way their accounting requires. When something breaks in production, you are the one who fixes it. This is engineering with a customer in the room. Communication matters as much as code. What you'll do Work with Account Executives on complex deal cycles involving multiple stakeholdersRun technical proof-of-concept processes and present tailored demos based on customer and business needsLead technical discovery calls and write the implementation scoping document for each customer that launches with MaximaTune prompts and models to get the right AI performance for each clientBuild integrations to transaction systems such as revenue, billing, and accounts payable, and the custom modules customers need to go livePartner with product and engineering to deliver on customer requests and advocate for customer needsTroubleshoot, debug, fix, and upgrade software for reliable performance in production, and support deployed solutions over time What we're looking for 2 or more years in forward deployed engineering, sales engineering, implementation engineering, or solutions engineeringBachelor's degree in any engineering discipline; computer science preferred but not requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills and comfort working directly with customersProficiency in languages such as Go, TypeScript, or PythonExperience working with Account Executives on technical sales processes for enterprise customersProactive, highly motivated, and able to handle the intensity and pace of a startup Where and how you'll work This role is based in our downtown Toronto office, near Union Station.
