Engineering position
Next Generation Sensors (NGS) is entering an exciting growth phase as we expand into new international markets, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented Engineer intern.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge sensor technologies from concept through production while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and validate advanced sensor systems and related technologies.
Translate customer and market requirements into engineering solutions.
Support product development throughout the complete lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to production and deployment.
Conduct testing, data analysis, and performance optimization.
Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
Collaborate closely with R&D and business development teams.
Identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and product improvement.
Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of technical issues.
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of programming languages (Ideally Python) Basic understanding of Raspberry Pi Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of electrical safety and the ability to do safety checks.
Experience with testing, validation, and technical documentation.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of of sensor technology, electronics, embedded systems, device development or related technologies is highly desirable.
Engineering experience in a technical environment.
Experience with PCB design and electronics development.
Knowledge of signal processing and data analysis.
Familiarity with embedded software development.
Experience with CAD tools and product development processes.
Understanding of quality standards and manufacturing environments.
