Graduate Software Engineer – Portfolio Management £55K + 15% Bonus + Bens A high-performance City based team that develops an industry-leading portfolio management system are looking to hire a couple of graduate engineers. You will work with a small performance-driven team (7 people) to help create solutions that help solve complex business problems. This role will see you interface with all areas of the business (underwriting, actuarial, finance and investor relations) and will provide you with the opportunity to learn about topics such as catastrophe modelling, capital raising and loss simulation, and in turn applying these learning to the systems that you build. You will take ownership of projects very early on, giving you the freedom to innovate and take responsibility for the solutions that you create. Being part of a small, high-performing team, the work that you produce will be widely visible and make an impact on key business functions, which will provide you with the potential to progress quickly. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and desire to deliver results. You will be curious about the nature of the wider business, and eager to collaborate with the rest of the team to drive innovation.
