Job Description
Ashoka is looking for senior-level professionals in Web Design and Development who can provide our Fellows with professional consults and project based support.
We are creating an elite team of 10-15 members from different world regions (to reflect cultural contexts and language) in this field and in nine others of similarly high-value skillsets.
We are calling these members Ashoka Professional Support Partners (PSPs) rather than "volunteers" to reflect the expertise and commitment to impact they will bring to our global community.
As an Ashoka Support Partner your expertise will be promoted to Fellows over the course of two to three months.
If there is a need that meets your interests and availability, an introduction will be made so that you can learn more details about the support partnership and ways that you can contribute.
Until that time your name and contact details will be held confidentially to protect your privacy.
As a Member Of The Web Design And Development Team You Will Be Working At The Intersection Of Digital Craft, Social-enterprise Literacy, And Capacity-building.
Our Ashoka Fellows Are Leading Social Entrepreneurs Running Organizations That Often Need Stronger Digital Foundations To Scale Their Impact.
A Senior Web Professional On This Team Would Help To
Build or rebuild Fellow and Fellow-led organizations' websites β from strategy and information architecture through design, development, and launch β so Fellows can credibly tell their story, recruit supporters, and raise funds online.
Design brand-aligned digital experiences β visual identity, UI/UX, landing pages, donation/fundraising flows, and campaign microsites that reflect each Fellow's mission and audience.
Modernize and maintain existing sites β auditing, migrating, and upgrading legacy platforms applying rigor to Fellows' sites.
Integrate essential nonprofit tooling β connecting sites to CRM/donor systems, email platforms, payment/donation processors, analytics, and multilingual/localization support for Fellows working across regions.
Coach and build Fellow capacity β transferring skills to Fellows and their teams so they can update content, run campaigns, and sustain their digital presence independently rather than depending on outside help indefinitely.
Please let us know today if you'd like to join this small but mighty team!
