Join us as an AWS Solution Architect and help us build resilient, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. You will join a 6-month transformation initiative focused on simplifying an AWS network environment, improving security, maintainability and scalability. The project involves designing a streamlined architecture with a reduced number of subnets and controlled connectivity, followed by a phased migration of services. What You Will Be Doing Design and define a simplified AWS network architecture, including VPC structure, subnet strategy and connectivity model, with a focus on reducing complexity and improving maintainability.Own and deliver a target architecture that enhances security posture and enables scalable, controlled service communication.Define principles for secure and controlled connectivity, including network segmentation aligned with best practices.Develop a migration approach for transitioning services from the existing environment to the target architecture, ensuring continuity and risk mitigation.Identify dependencies, risks and constraints across systems and environments and incorporate them into the migration and architecture design.Contribute to the implementation of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including transitioning from existing CloudFormation templates where relevant.Shape the evolution of CI/CD pipelines, supporting coexistence and optimization of existing tooling such as Jenkins and Concourse.Ensure that the architecture supports secure service-to-service communication and aligns with AWS security best practices.Validate implemented solutions against the target architecture and defined principles.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure architectural alignment and remove blockers where needed.Continuously improve architecture, processes and tooling to support long-term scalability, maintainability and efficiency. You Are a Good Match If You Have Strong hands-on AWS Solution Architecture experience, especially in AWS networking, infrastructure simplification and migration-focused environmentsAdvanced knowledge of AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing and security groupsExperience defining and executing migration strategies for complex environmentsStrong Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code experienceSolid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and ConcourseExperience with container and serverless technologies, including Docker, ECS and LambdaSolid understanding of the software engineering lifecycleAWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is a plus About You Strong ownership and accountability for architecture decisionsAble to operate at both strategic and hands-on levelComfortable working in complex and evolving environmentsStrong communicator, able to align technical and non-technical stakeholdersAnalytical, collaborative and delivery-focused in your approach
