About The Role GrabJobs is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a key player in our technology division, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation, collaborating with a talented global team primarily based in Israel. You will champion a DevOps mindset by identifying friction points and implementing scalable automation solutions to enhance our deployment processes and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independence, adaptability, and excellent communication skills across multiple time zones. Qualifications We are looking for candidates with at least 4+ years of experience as a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Production Engineer. You should have hands-on experience working with public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS), managing production workloads effectively. Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, along with microservices architecture, is essential. You should be familiar with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Argo Rollouts. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Terragrunt is required, as well as scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go. A solid understanding of observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and VictoriaMetrics is necessary. The ideal candidate is autonomous, flexible, and capable of managing priorities independently while working collaboratively in a distributed team environment. Responsibilities As a DevOps Engineer at GrabJobs, your responsibilities will include championing a DevOps mindset by identifying operational friction points and implementing automation solutions to improve reliability and delivery speed. You will operate and optimize our production environments using infrastructure as code and modern observability tools to ensure high performance and uptime. Building intuitive internal tools to empower development teams and fostering a culture of self-service within R&D will be a key aspect of your role. You will lead end-to-end deployment processes, managing architecture, implementation, and deployment across multiple regions and environments. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our Israel-based DevOps team, maintaining strong communication and ownership despite geographical differences. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of our platform and operational processes.
