T About The Role We are seeking a self-motivated Front-End Engineer to join our Front-End Foundations team, which is responsible for developing and maintaining Manulife's internal React component library that implements our enterprise design system. This library powers over 100 active digital properties across our Canadian and US segments and is recognized as the standard for React development within the organization. The role involves building accessible, high-quality React components, tooling, and documentation to support thousands of engineers who rely on these resources daily. As a product engineering role, the library is the product, and developers are the customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, architects, and product managers, to ensure the delivery of scalable, reusable, and accessible front-end solutions that align with enterprise standards and future growth initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact the consistency, accessibility, and quality of our digital experiences, enabling us to deliver superior customer and employee experiences.
