Description

Strategic Staffing Solutions customer is a global IT services and technology company supporting major organizations with digital transformation. The company delivers innovative IT solutions, cloud transformation, digital integration, and IT operations and support. We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join their cybersecurity team. Key Responsibilities: Manage technical customer onboarding across Microsoft and other security platforms.Configure and optimize Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure, and Splunk.Configure SIEM data sources, detection rules, analytics, automation, and integrations.Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot security automations.Support SOC analysts with alert investigation and incident escalations.Conduct security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, and security investigations.Perform vulnerability assessments and provide security and threat analysis.Research and test new security technologies and participate in PoCs.Identify opportunities to improve SOC processes, tools, and operational efficiency.Design, test, and deploy cybersecurity solutions. Requirements: University degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.Previous experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role.Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, incident response, and security operations.Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK / D3FEND.Good knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, operating systems, cloud, firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, and vulnerability management.Knowledge of ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Azure, Sentinel, and Splunk.Excellent English communication skills. Personal Skills: Strong communication and analytical skills.Results-oriented and proactive.High sense of responsibility and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in an international team.
