Description

Join an international offshore engineering leader as a Mechanical Engineer – Equipment & Process Package. Work on complex offshore projects and take responsibility for mechanical equipment and process packages throughout the engineering and project lifecycle. You will work closely with vendors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, reliable and technically compliant solutions within an international EPC environment. Tasks Engineer and develop mechanical equipment and process packages for offshore projectsPrepare and review technical specifications, calculations and engineering documentationSelect suitable equipment and technical solutions in line with project requirements and industry standardsCoordinate technical requirements and interfaces with other engineering disciplinesWork closely with vendors and subcontractors during engineering, procurement and manufacturingReview vendor documentation and follow up on technical issuesSupport inspection, testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment and packagesEnsure engineering deliverables are completed according to project schedule, budget and quality requirementsTake technical responsibility for assigned equipment or packages as Package Engineer when required Job requirements Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or another relevant engineering discipline5–10 years of relevant experience within the Oil & Gas industryPrevious experience working within an EPC engineering environmentExperience with mechanical equipment, particularly mechanical static equipmentExperience with process packages and package engineering is an advantageUnderstanding of detailed engineering, equipment selection, technical specifications and engineering calculationsExperience coordinating with equipment vendors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teamsExperience with equipment inspection, testing, commissioning and/or manufacturing is an advantage Conditions An attractive monthly salary based on your experienceApplication for the 30% ruling (expat tax advantage)27 days of paid holidays and paid national holidaysCompensation for commuting costs depending on your preferred means of transportation - own car / public transport / bikeRelocation support (incl. allowance, housing search, registration) and an on-boarding at our office for a warm & thorough welcomeBudget for Dutch language course so that you have a good kickstart
