Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team and help build the next generation of our electronic document management (EDM/EDI) solutions. You will take ownership of technical decisions, contribute to backend architecture, and collaborate with a strong engineering team on complex, high-impact projects. As we continue expanding our products, we are modernizing our technology stack, refactoring existing services, and introducing new functionality while maintaining high standards of code quality, scalability, and reliability. Responsibilities Develop new backend functionality and maintain existing projects;Design and evolve backend architecture;Refactor and optimize existing codebases;Participate in the development and launch of new company products;Optimize application performance and database queries;Perform code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making;Collaborate with the development team to improve engineering processes and best practices. Requirements 4–5+ years of commercial PHP development experience;Strong knowledge of PHP 7/8;Deep understanding of SQL and relational databases;Hands-on experience with Symfony(our primary framework), Laravel, or Zend Framework;Experience designing backend architectures and high-load applications;Experience writing unit tests using PHPUnit;Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns;Experience with Git, Linux, and modern development tools;Ability to take ownership, work independently, and make technical decisions.Professional proficiency in Russian (both written and spoken) is required. Nice to Have Experience with PostgreSQL;Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines;Application performance optimization experience;Broad backend/web development expertise.
