## About the Role CGM is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer (m/w/d) to design, develop, and operate modern web applications across its SaaS portfolio, including Praxis, Agentic AI, ifap, Therafox, and Intermedix. The role spans frontend, backend, and DevOps layers, with a strong focus on building reliable, secure, cloud-native products and integrating AI-native features into healthcare applications. You will develop AI-powered and agentic experiences using LLMs, retrieval, tool use, and structured workflows to create meaningful value for physicians, practice teams, and patients. Working closely with Product Management, UX, Architecture, and Engineering, you will help establish engineering and AI-engineering best practices while contributing a proactive, entrepreneurial, and outcome-driven approach to product development. ## Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and operate modern web applications across CGM's SaaS portfolio, including Praxis, Agentic AI, ifap, Therafox, and Intermedix. * Work across frontend, backend, and DevOps layers with end-to-end product responsibility. * Integrate AI-native features and agentic experiences into products. * Apply LLMs, retrieval, tool use, and structured workflows to create value for physicians, practice teams, and patients. * Design, develop, and operate cloud-native services with a focus on reliability, security, and developer productivity. * Continuously expand shared agents, skills, pipelines, and harnesses together with the team. * Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, Architecture, and Engineering. * Improve engineering and AI-engineering quality within the team. * Establish and promote best practices for agentic applications. * Stay close to users and understand healthcare workflows. * Apply an entrepreneurial and outcome-driven mindset to feature development. ## Required Qualifications * Several years of senior-level experience in full-stack engineering of modern web applications. * Deep expertise in at least one frontend stack: * React * Angular * Deep expertise in at least one backend stack: * Java/Spring Boot * Python * Completed university degree at Master's or doctoral level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field. * Above-average academic performance. * Strong practical experience with core technologies including: * React or Angular * Java Spring Boot * Python * C# * Kafka * Terraform * Experience with cloud and DevOps environments, including: * Kubernetes * Helm * ArgoCD * Demonstrated effective use of AI in software engineering. * Strong problem-solving skills. * High level of proactivity and enthusiasm for innovation. * Very good collaboration with Product Management. * Fluent English and business-fluent German, both written and spoken. * Alignment with CGM's healthcare purpose and an entrepreneurial mindset. ##
