About The Role We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer (m/w/d) to join our project management team at Scheidt & Bachmann Signalling Systems GmbH in Mönchengladbach. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions that deliver tangible business value. Your expertise will help automate and streamline complex business processes, ensuring our systems are aligned with the evolving needs of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including business analysts, other developers, and end-users, to implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience. Your contributions will directly impact our digital transformation initiatives, supporting our goal to modernize railway signaling and safety systems globally. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree in computer science, information technology, or a comparable qualification. You should have a minimum of two years of professional experience in Salesforce development and configuration. Certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce App Builder are essential. You must have solid technical expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex programming, Salesforce Flows, and data modeling. Experience with REST API integrations, Git-based development workflows, and Salesforce CLI is highly desirable. Additional skills in Python programming and a good command of German and English are preferred. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a solution-focused approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities Develop innovative Salesforce solutions utilizing Lightning Web Components, Apex controllers, and triggers based on detailed user stories and business requirements.Transform manual processes into efficient digital workflows by designing and implementing low-code automation solutions using Salesforce Flows.Configure and customize the Salesforce platform, including data models, user interfaces, roles, and permissions to meet organizational needs.Design and implement integrations with external systems via REST APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and process automation through Platform Events.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and fellow developers, utilizing modern development tools such as Salesforce CLI, Git, and Visual Studio Code to ensure high-quality deliverables.Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high standards of quality and maintainability across projects.
