As the Director, Product Owner – Payments Infrastructure & Transaction Processing, you'll lead the strategy, roadmap, and build of Simplii’s payments infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for ensuring reliable, transparent, and efficient money movement across all channels, overseeing integration with payment networks, card processors, rail providers, and reconciliation systems. Your role will involve translating business goals, regulatory mandates, and operational pain points into actionable product outcomes, partnering closely with technology, architecture, operations, risk, finance, and external vendors. You’ll drive modernization efforts, streamline platform architecture, and ensure the payments infrastructure is resilient, compliant, and ready to quickly adapt to changes in the payments landscape. How You'll Succeed Payments Infrastructure Product Ownership – Own the vision for Simplii's payments platforms, balancing flexibility to meet customer needs, performance, and efficiency. Transaction Processing & Integration – Translate business and regulatory priorities into a clear roadmap, managing integrations with processors, networks, rail providers, and internal systems. Modernization & Architecture Simplification – Lead the discovery and delivery of Simplii’s payments modernization, reducing duplication and complexity while enhancing platform capability. Reconciliation & Operational Excellence – Develop and maintain capabilities for payments reconciliation, settlement, and operational visibility, ensuring compliance with regulatory and scheme requirements. Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement – Act as the product decision-maker, partnering with internal teams and external vendors to translate requirements into outcomes.
