Together with your colleagues, all (like you) at the top of their game, you’ll be working on challenging projects every day of the week. To give a few examples: you might help build the cloud version of the Netherlands’ largest traffic management platform, or a system that collects and drains excess water after torrential rain showers or an energy management system. Your day begins with a stand-up, where you discuss any issues that the client has flagged with your project team and decide on what the solution. You support and help the developers, discuss pros and cons of the approach chosen, and settle complex issues if necessary. Together with the architect you talk through new features, make suggestions for the design and assess the impact on the current application. You’re constantly exchanging ideas. Obviously, you write excellent code, and contribute to quality control and the optimization of processes and systems. All the while keeping a clear view of the project as a whole and its goals and end results. We do a lot of very diverse projects, so there will always be one that suits you. And we work with the latest technologies and languages – including Rust. Whenever possible you use the tools that you like best and you have a lot of freedom to do things the way you think is best. Did we mention that at Technolution, you’ll almost always be working either in the office or at home? We don’t do secondment. In this position, you’ll be working independently but never alone. Colleagues are happy to listen to your questions. And vice versa: you are there to help colleagues whenever they need advice, assistance or support.
