AI Frontend Developer (React & AI Solutions) Location Amsterdam, Netherlands (Remote) Contract 12-Month Freelance Contract Overview We are seeking an experienced AI Frontend Developer to join a leading manufacturing company on a large-scale digital innovation programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing modern web applications whilst integrating AI-powered capabilities that enhance operational efficiency, user experience, and business processes. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with product owners, UX teams, backend developers, and AI specialists to deliver scalable and user-focused solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using React and TypeScriptDesign intuitive user interfaces for AI-enabled business applicationsIntegrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI services through APIsCollaborate with backend and cloud engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsBuild reusable UI components and maintain development best practicesOptimise application performance, accessibility, and responsivenessTranslate business requirements into technical solutionsSupport testing, debugging, and continuous improvement activitiesParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical decision-makingEnsure security and compliance standards are followed throughout development Required Experience Proven experience developing enterprise-grade frontend applicationsStrong expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3Experience integrating AI technologies and conversational interfacesUnderstanding of AI concepts including prompt engineering and LLM workflowsExperience working with RESTful APIs and cloud-based servicesKnowledge of frontend architecture and component-based developmentExperience within complex international project environmentsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Experience Experience with Azure OpenAI or Microsoft AI servicesKnowledge of manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environmentsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesFamiliarity with containerised environments and cloud-native applicationsExperience working within large transformation programmes Candidate Profile Strong communicator with the ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholdersProactive and solution-oriented mindsetComfortable working independently in a remote environmentTeam player with a collaborative approachPassion for modern technology, innovation, and AI-driven development Let op: vacaturefraude Helaas komt vacaturefraude steeds vaker voor.
