Role Overview We’re looking for a .Net Software Engineer to help design, build, and support our core platform. In this role, you’ll contribute to backend services, APIs, data access, integrations, and some UI components in a cloud-based, event-driven architecture. Our technology stack includes C#, .NET, PostgreSQL, AWS, Blazor, and MudBlazor, with services running across Lambda, ECS, and EC2. We build distributed systems that communicate through APIs and events, and we continue to improve our engineering practices, tooling, and platform capabilities. We take an AI-first approach to software development, using approved AI tools to support design, coding, testing, refactoring, documentation, and problem-solving. You’ll be encouraged to use these tools thoughtfully and responsibly as part of your day-to-day work. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on development, collaborative problem-solving, and delivering reliable software in a practical, iterative environment. Responsibilities Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain secure, reliable, and maintainable softwareDevelop and support .NET services and APIs within an event-driven microservices architectureContribute to integrations between systems using APIs and eventsWork with PostgreSQL and data access patterns to deliver scalable, supportable solutionsSupport applications and services hosted in AWS, including Lambda, ECS, and EC2Contribute to UI development in Blazor and MudBlazor where neededBreak down requirements and solution designs into clear technical tasksParticipate in estimation, planning, and technical discussionsTake part in peer reviews and contribute to shared coding standards and quality practicesWrite automated tests and help improve software quality and reliabilityTroubleshoot defects, investigate incidents, and support production issues when neededCreate and maintain clear technical documentationUse approved AI-assisted development tools responsibly and in line with engineering, security, and quality standards Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer building production application in C# and .NETExperience building and maintaining backend services and APIsExperience working with event-driven systems, asynchronous messaging patterns, or service-based architecturesUnderstanding of RESTful APIs and service-to-service communicationExperience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQLUnderstanding of automated tests and good software quality practicesExperience using source control and collaborating through code review practicesAbility to work from technical documentation and break development work into clear technical tasksPractical experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of day-to-day engineering workGood written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working in a pragmatic delivery environment that draws from agile principles without following a strict framework Nice to have: Experience with microservices architectureExperience with BFF patternsExperience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EC2, or related cloud-hosted environmentsExperience with PostgreSQL in production systemsExperience with Blazor and/or MudBlazorFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processesFamiliarity with Docker or container-based developmentExposure to observability, logging, and monitoring practices in distributed systemsExposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub CopilotAwareness of secure coding practices and building resilient applications We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment and are committed to providing a workplace that empowers associates to be authentic and bring their best to work.
