Back End Developer

As a member of the Cubbit team, you will help to design, develop and maintain performant and scalable products used by our business customers; you'll deep dive into challenging and exciting brainstorming and pair-programming sessions with your teammates and, most importantly, you'll be part of the future of the cloud. What you’ll do Work on existing and new products by developing software, of courseReview other teammates’ code and constructively discuss about changesTransform technical requirements into tasks to be worked onAnalyze application’s tracing to spot bottlenecks and issues ‍What you’ll need 5+ years of experience in a backend development roleStrong knowledge of Go (Golang) programmingUnderstanding of cloud servicesExperience with GitSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (sockets, HTTP, APIs)Experience with AI-based and agentic development toolsExperience with Linux operating systemsExperience with Distributed Systems ‍Bonus point Past experience in startup and/or similar industryPast experiences with network file systems (NFS/SMB)Past experience in remote working with agile methodologyFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kubernetes operatorFamiliarity with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, application tracing Compensation: Base salary €45,000, up to €65,000, depending on your experience, technical expertise, and overall fit for the role.
