Engineering Lead - Berlin -Hybrid About the Company We're partnering with an established health-tech company to help them find an Engineering Lead for their Berlin based team. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, supporting their technical growth and day-to-day deliverySet technical direction and best practices across the backend, including architecture and microservices designStay hands-on with code — contributing directly to development, code reviews, and key technical decisionsTake ownership of code quality, efficiency, and system stability across the team's outputGuide the deployment and operation of scalable, stable infrastructureDrive engineering standards, testing practices, and technical process improvementsWork closely with cross-functional, agile teams to align technical delivery with product goalsHave a direct hand in shaping the success of the product Must-have: Strong experience with PHPSolid MySQL experienceHands-on experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience deploying and operating production systemsStrong understanding of MVC architecturesTrack record of unit testing and driving testing culture within a teamProven experience leading or mentoring a team of engineers
