What You’ll Do Work closely with developers and the DevOps team to oversee deployments and code releasesMaintain, own, and improve the build and deploy pipelineAdministration and automation of the AWS and GCP infrastructure and environmentsContinuously improve the tooling, applications and environmentsWork within an agile framework, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products.Work directly with the application development team’s tech lead and/or product owner to prioritization of infrastructure and DevOps tasks to meet the team’s business roadmapUnderstand the requirement of new feature request from other teams from the Toronto Factory, the Lab, the Paris teams and cybersecurity stakeholders, providing feedback from the DevOps team’s perspective and work on the implementationDevelop and improve operational practices and proceduresActively participate in code reviews, testing, and champion best software development practices.Investigate and adopt new technologies including use of AI and agents when appropriateProvide guidance to the junior team membersFoster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and improvement within the team.Communicate complex technical and business concepts effectively to diverse audiences.Automate (almost) everything! What You’ll Need Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related technical fields5+ years experience as an DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer in a cloud development environment5+ years experience in administering GCP or AWSVery good understanding of DevOps concepts, techniques, tools and cultureExpert in UNIX/Linux operating system.Experience working with Infrastructure as Code to manage and provision infrastructureStrong understanding of Cloud Networking VPC/Subnets, Load balancers, WAF and DNS management across multiple environmentsExperience with secrets management and IAM least privilege design across multiple accounts/projectsExperience working on CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GCP Cloud Build, etc.Familiarity with Security and Compliance tooling such as Guardduty, AWS Config, Crowdstrike, Tanium etc is nice to havePrior experience working closely with or being embedded with development teamsExperience with Software Development lifecycles tools such as github, SonarQube and etc.Experience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, GCP monitoring or similar for high availability and performant production applicationsExperience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practicesImplement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.Enjoy collaborating, learning from your colleagues, and teaching others.Scripting languages such as Bash or PythonExperience working on AI tools such as Copilot, Claude Code and etc. Note: This is a Hybrid positions, you will need to commute to our downtown office minimum 2 days per week with possibility of 3 days per week.
