Our logistics services allow our customers to transport exactly what they want, when they want, in a cost effective way. To support our continued growth and digital transformation, we are expanding our software development team with a Web Developer. In this role, you will join our software development department of 35 professionals covering analysis, development, and testing. The team is highly autonomous and works closely with Product Owners to build in house, business driven applications. Our architecture is Angular, API first, cloud native, and centered around Microsoft Azure, with Apigee for API management and Okta for identity and access management. Knowledge of WEB design is highly valued. To be successful as a WEB developer, you are analytical, technically strong, and comfortable translating business requirements into robust, secure, and scalable software solutions. What will you do? As a WEB Developer, you will: Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern front end (Angular) and back end (Dotnet) technologies within Azure Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Implement security and data protection measures Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Write and maintain technical documentation What do we expect from you? Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Informatics or IT related field Proven experience as a WEB developer Strong proficiency in front end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks (Angular preferred, React or Vue.js) Experience with Agile development methodologies Experience with version control systems (Git) Knowledge of web security best practices and OWASP guidelines Good command of the English language (spoken and written) Currently living in The Netherlands within commuting distance of Haarlem Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Experience with testing frameworks and TDD Knowledge of TypeScript How does the process work?
