Job Description
We are recruiting a Frontend Developer on behalf of our client, a growing technology company operating within the iGaming sector.
The company develops digital platforms and web-based products for operators across European markets.
This is an opportunity to join its frontend development team and contribute to the continued development, improvement and performance of its applications.
Location: Hybrid (1 day from the office) - Malta
Responsibilities:
As a Frontend Developer, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Build, enhance and maintain frontend applications using Angular.Work alongside product, design and engineering teams to deliver new functionality.Translate technical and business requirements into reliable, user-friendly solutions.Maintain high standards of application performance, responsiveness and code quality.Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs and performance bottlenecks.Contribute to peer reviews and support the continuous improvement of development practices.Manage application fixes, upgrades and routine maintenance.Keep informed of developments across Angular, TypeScript and the wider frontend ecosystem.
Requirements:
At least two years of professional frontend development experience, with a strong focus on Angular.Good command of TypeScript and modern JavaScript development.Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive interface development.Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.Understanding of frontend performance and optimisation.Practical experience using Git or a comparable version-control system.Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.Good attention to detail and a collaborative approach to development.Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable Experience
A degree in computer science, engineering or another relevant discipline.Experience with Angular state-management solutions such as NgRx or Signals.Knowledge of Angular performance-improvement techniques.Exposure to CI/CD processes and automated release pipelines.Familiarity with frontend tooling such as Webpack or Vite.Understanding of user experience, interface design and accessibility standards.Previous experience working with Nx.
