About The Role We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join our IT Billing and Master Data Systems division at our Dortmund location. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting the digital transformation of healthcare services by maintaining and optimizing our billing and data management systems. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and evaluating billing-related data, administering and configuring our existing system landscape, and developing applications and interfaces that streamline processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, agile environment where innovative thinking and collaboration are valued. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure, ensuring high-quality code and efficient workflows, ultimately impacting the quality of healthcare services delivered to the community. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT-related qualification. You should have extensive experience with relational SQL databases such as Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL, including proficiency in PL/SQL. Knowledge of software development concepts and tools like Scrum, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Domain-driven Design is essential. Additional skills in working with NoSQL databases and backend development using Java or PowerShell are highly desirable. A passion for emerging technologies, coupled with enthusiasm for challenging software projects, is important. You should demonstrate high motivation for shaping solutions, possess strong analytical skills, and work systematically with a clear focus on goals. Responsibilities Perform database analysis and evaluate billing-related case data to support data-driven decision-making.Administer and configure the existing billing and data management systems, with a focus on database environments.Optimize current solutions and processes by evaluating and integrating new frameworks, libraries, and tools.Develop applications and interfaces aimed at automating and streamlining workflows to improve efficiency.Ensure and enhance code quality through regular team exchanges, code reviews, and automated testing strategies.
