Software Engineer

Do you have experience to build on? A Developer of our web framework is wanted, and it might be you! We're on the lookout for a tech-savvy Software Engineer who brings enthusiasm, eagerness to learn and the drive to make a business impact. You’ll be developing a successful product used by thousands of customers worldwide. You will work at our HQ in Brno, or in the Prague office, with regular trips to Brno. What Will You Be Doing? You will develop our flagship product Xperience by Kentico—a highly extensible content management, online marketing, and e-commerce framework for large businesses. You will be part of one of our product divisions. Each division consists of 8-12 people, led by a Division Leader, with a flat team of engineers and specialists working alongside them. No layers, no triads. Each division is a diverse group of professionals who inspire and support each other.You will use modern technologies to develop the product features. We work with Microsoft technologies such as .NET Core, Azure Cloud, MS SQL, and Azure DevOps. We always support the latest LTS version of .NET and work with the newest language features. On front-end we work with React/TypeScript. Every single pull request passes code review. All the code must have proper test coverage. Code quality is the top priority as our product is the code itself—we build a framework for other developers after all. In our development team, we share experience and will be happy to help you bootstrap your career. Both your Division leader and Senior Software Engineers are here to support your growth, both technical and personal. During your onboarding, your assigned buddy will have your back from the get-go. How we work? Flexible working hours accomodate your current needs. We work in hybrid mode. Wednesdays and Thursdays in the office. The remaining three days are up to you come to the office or work from home. Whatever suits you best. You don’t need to worry about your efficiency being hindered by hardware. All our engineers work with the hi-end DELL Precision 5570 notebooks (12th Intel i9 CPU, 64 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD) with a docking station and two DELL screens with a keyboard, mouse and headset of your choice. Of course, expect modern offices, easily accessible by public transport. With Whom Will You Cooperate? You’ll report to the Product director of one of the product teams, they provide strategic alignment and mentorship, and help you reach your career goals. They are genuinely interested in your strong suits and help you develop them. They discover even those strengths you didn’t know you had. Aside from your team members, you will often talk with UX Designers and Product Managers while working on the specific features. We will help you develop your personal superpower. Is It You? Familiar with AI dev tools You have a fair understanding of architecture, data structures, and design patterns. You have a web-development background and experience in C#. You understand SQL. You are familiar with TypeScript, React, or Vue.js. You are happy to write tests with AI assistance (unit/integration/UI) A very good command of English is essential (at least B2). What We Offer.
