Full Stack Developer (Finance Domain)

Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, test, and maintain enterprise applications for banking and financial services.Work across backend, frontend, database, and system integration components based on assigned project scope.Develop backend services, business logic, batch programs, APIs, and system interfaces using Java, Spring Boot, or equivalent enterprise technologies.Develop and maintain web-based user interfaces using React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, or equivalent frontend frameworks.Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs.Participate in application design, screen design, database design, interface specification, and data mapping.Work with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, or MS SQL Server, including SQL development, data validation, and query optimisation.Support system integration, data migration, testing, deployment, production stabilisation, and issue resolution.Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, architects, developers, QA engineers, and client stakeholders.Prepare and maintain technical specifications, test evidence, implementation documents, and operational guidelines.Ensure the delivered solutions meet requirements for security, performance, reliability, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.Provide clear progress updates and proactively communicate project risks, issues, and dependencies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Finance, Banking, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Approximately 5 years of hands-on software development experience, including substantial experience in Banking, Finance, Securities, Card, Insurance, or other Financial Services projects.Practical full-stack or enterprise application development experience using a relevant combination of: - Java, Spring, or Spring Boot - React, Angular, JavaScript, or TypeScript - REST APIs, SOAP services, batch processing, or enterprise integration - Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, MS SQL Server, or equivalent relational databases Participation in at least 3 Financial Services projects, covering one or more areas such as: - Loans and post-loan management - Deposits and payments - Electronic banking - Credit and risk management - AML, KYC, or CDD - Cards - Securities - Retirement pension - Financial data, reporting, or regulatory systems Experience in multiple stages of the software delivery lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, or production support.Ability to clearly explain personal responsibilities, functional scope, technical deliverables, technologies used, and level of ownership for each project.Strong SQL, troubleshooting, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.Experience with Git, Jira, CI/CD, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent development practices.Good communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional and distributed project team.Experience with Korean financial institutions, global communication, banking frameworks, cloud platforms, microservices, data migration, or legacy-system modernization is an advantage.Experience in managing a team of 5-8 members is an advantage.
