The ALDI Tech Hub is an important part of fulfilling this mission. Your tasks Develop and Maintain Backend Logic: Design and implement scalable and robust backend services. Develop and maintain APIs and services that will be consumed by front-end and mobile app developers.Database Management: Handle the database needs of the applications, including designing, maintaining, and optimizing databases for high performance and security.Integration of User-Facing Elements: Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Performance Tuning: Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.Security and Data Protection: Implement security measures to safeguard user data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and debug issues in the production environment.Code Quality: Ensure the quality of the code through writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.Implement automated testing and participate in code reviews. Requirements 5+ years of experience building and operating backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.Experience developing software in a large-scale corporate or enterprise environment.A track record of successfully delivering and maintaining production systems used by a significant user base.Familiarity with modern cloud and platform technologies, including databases, serverless solutions, and Kubernetes.Experience with Microsoft Azure (or similar) and cloud-native design principles.Proficiency with Git-based development workflows and platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.A growth mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for building reliable, scalable services.
