Devops Engineer

Job Title: Devops Engineer Job Location: Poland, Remote Job Type: Contract 6-12 months Position Overview We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to provide hands-on DevOps services to multiple application teams responsible for support, small changes, and technical debt remediation. The role will plan and execute cross-team DevOps work across a heterogeneous stack (.NET, PHP, Angular, React, SQL Server, Progress), lead CI/CD and cloud-native operations, implement observability and security best practices. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute DevOps activities across multiple teams and technology stacks.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and automation.Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance tracking.Support infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.Implement security controls across applications, infrastructure, and pipelines.Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and improve system reliability.Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams using ADO and Jira. Mandatory Skills Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Hands-on knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, Application Insights, and ELK/EFK.Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Ansible.Strong understanding of DevSecOps, IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and secure CI/CD.Experience with Azure DevOps and Jira.Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.Experience supporting enterprise applications across multiple technology stacks.Excellent communication, client-facing, collaboration, and teamwork skills. Secondary Skills Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.Knowledge of CI/CD tools, container registries, and artifact repositories.Experience with infrastructure optimization and automation.Understanding of the insurance industry is desirable. Experience and Qualifications 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering. Production experience with Kubernetes and cloud or enterprise environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKAD, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent are desirable.
