Application Developer

Job Title: Application Developer – .NET 10 + React + PostgreSQL Job Location: Poland, remote Job Type: Contract – 6-12 months Position Overview We are seeking a Support Engineer having .NET 10, React and PostgreSQL skills to join our support team and work closely with agile delivery squads. The role focuses on incident triage and resolution, ServiceNow-based ticket management, and implementing small enhancements using ADO or Jira. Key Responsibilities Enhancement of applications developed using: .NET 10, React, jQuery and PostgreSQL Development of minor enhancements, technical debt, defect resolution, and hotfixes in .NET 10 applications as part of agile sprints or ad-hoc requests. Analyze, design, development and unit testing for minor changes, technical debts and application defects. Workacross the presentation, business, data-access layers and database. Work with PostgreSQL: write and optimize queries, troubleshoot data issues, and support schema changes. Investigate application logs, stack traces, database issues, and integration failures. Support REST-based integrations and troubleshoot API-related issues. Collaborate with support, database, infrastructure, and business teams. Participate in agile ceremonies as part of the development methodologies Experience working in Scrum and Kanban teams Prepare technical documentation, knowledge articles and support procedures. Mandatory Skills Hands-on development/support experience with .NET 10 (C#). Front-end experience with React (component-based development, debugging). Proficient with PostgreSQL: SQL, indexing, query tuning, backups/restores. Strong experience working in agile environment using both Scrum and Kanban Expertise in using tools like Jira or ADO Strong knowledge of: C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Expertise in SQL and relational databases. Experience with debugging tools, application logs, and performance analysis. Good incident-management and communication skills. Secondary Skills Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and related services. Good understanding of Insurance domain. REST and SOAP web services. IIS administration and deployment troubleshooting. Entity Framework or equivalent ORM technology. Windows services and scheduled jobs. Azure DevOps, TFS, or similar source-control and deployment tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes (Azure DevOps pipelines preferred). Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or equivalent. Familiarity with Angular. Experience and Qualifications 5+ years of experience in .NET 10, React application development or application support. Good understaning of Scrum and Kanban process with experience working in agile teams Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
