Software Engineer (.NET / AWS / React)

Your new role As a Software Engineer, you'll join an agile squad responsible for enhancing and supporting digital lending platforms used by business customers. Operating across the full stack, you'll help design, build and maintain secure, scalable applications, with a particular focus on backend engineering and cloud-native services. Key responsibilities include: Designing and building secure .NET services and APIsDeveloping cloud-native solutions on AWS, particularly ECSWorking with event-driven architectures using Kafka and SQSSupporting and enhancing React and/or Next.js applicationsWriting secure, production-quality code and addressing vulnerabilitiesContributing to platform improvements, reliability and customer experience initiativesCollaborating closely with engineers, product stakeholders and delivery teamsExploring AI-enabled development tooling to improve engineering efficiencyWhat you'll need to succeed 3+ years' commercial Software Engineering experienceStrong hands-on development experience with .NETExperience building and supporting applications on AWS, particularly ECSExposure to Kafka, SQS and event-driven systemsStrong API development and integration experienceKnowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability remediationFrontend development experience with React and/or Next.jsAbility to work across both backend and frontend componentsStrong communication and collaboration skillsA proactive approach and willingness to learnNice to have: Experience with Playwright or automated testing frameworksExposure to AI-assisted development toolsPrior experience within banking, lending or broader financial services environmentsWhat you'll get in return Work on large-scale, customer-facing digital platformsModern cloud-native technology stack across AWS, .NET and microservicesExposure to event-driven architecture and distributed systems If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
