Dotnet Developer

Our client, a leading and long withstanding SaaS company is currently on the lookout for a talented .Net Developer to join the current team. Candidates have to be based in Malta. Responsibilities: Work closely with the front-end team to develop APIs and support application maintenance.Maintain high standards of code quality.Follow established coding guidelines and practices.Collaborate with the Product Owner to clarify technical requirements.Support team development by sharing knowledge, offering guidance, and assisting the Team Lead.Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability.Maintain and improve existing features on an ongoing basis.Keep up with new technologies and industry trends.Raise team-related issues to the Team Lead when necessary.Help estimate the effort required for product backlog items.Work towards meeting KPIs and deadlines.Participate in code reviews and contribute to pull requests.Share best practices and encourage collaboration within the team. Requirements: 3 years of proven experience building user-facing web applications. In addition to experience a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field) would be an advantage.Strong working knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and SQL Server.Solid understanding of software architecture and its practical application.Solid understanding of the full web development process, from design to deployment.Strong team player with good problem-solving skills.Able to manage time effectively and stay focused under pressure.Able to estimate work effort and identify possible challenges that may affect delivery.Experience using Git or similar version control systems.Experience with Jira or similar project management tools. Nice to have: Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, and Vue 3.Familiarity with UX principles.Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.Knowledge of message queuing systems like Azure Service Bus
