Job Description As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing and building our new software platform from the ground up. You will work as part of an agile development team, contributing hands-on to software development while also supporting the team through technical guidance, mentoring and solution design. You will have the opportunity to influence the platform's architecture, technology choices and development practices from an early stage. In addition to development work, you will help translate business needs into technical specifications and act as a deputy Scrum Master when needed. This role is well suited for an experienced developer who enjoys combining hands-on development with technical leadership and teamwork. Your key responsibilities include: Design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions for our product portfolioParticipate in defining the architecture, technical solutions and development practicesCreate and refine technical specifications together with product, business and development stakeholdersProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and other team membersParticipate actively in code reviews and promote good software engineering practicesSupport the team in solving complex technical challenges and making architectural decisionsAct as a deputy Scrum Master when required and help facilitate effective agile ways of workingContribute to improving development processes, CI/CD pipelines, testing practices and overall software qualityCollaborate closely with other developers, product owners and relevant stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle Practical Information This is a permanent, full-time position. Start date is flexible and will be discussed individually. We are looking for a person based in Finland who can work remotely, while also being available to visit our Helsinki office on an occasional basis. The salary range for this position is €4,500-5,500 per month. Requirements 4+ years of professional software development experiencePrevious experience working in a Senior Developer, Lead Developer or similar roleStrong professional experience with .NET and C#Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases and modern software development practicesExperience working as part of a software development team and the ability to guide and support other developersAbility to translate requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plansGood understanding of software quality practices, code reviews and maintainable codeExperience with Agile software development methodsGood communication and collaboration skills in Finnish and English Considered an advantage Experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platformsExperience with modern frontend technologies such as React or Next.jsExperience with cross-platform application development technologies such as React Native or .NET MAUIExperience designing or building cloud-native or distributed systemsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience acting as a Scrum Master or facilitating agile development teamsExperience participating in architecture or technology decisions for new software products or platforms Why join us?
