Full Stack Engineer

Credera is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team in either Sydney or Melbourne. Purpose As an active member of our global technology services practice, this is a hands-on role where you will be part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering exceptional transformational results for our clients, utilising your core development skills to code and deploy in traditional and serverless capabilities to support project and business outcomes. In your role you will sometimes assume scrum/work management capacity, this will include managing and supporting more junior roles on larger projects, and be able to operate with an agile mindset and across squads where appropriate. This role requires a blend of development skills, effective communication, and a commitment to optimising technology deployments for Credera and our clients. Job Duties Client impact Collaborate with clients and colleagues in cross functional teams to help convert requirements into deliverable code, defining, design, and ship new features tailored to meet specific business needsCreate and document code, configurations, and procedures to maintain clear and up-to-date recordsTroubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues related to code defects and issues, ensuring high availability and reliabilityBe a key player within a DevOps delivery model and/or participate in agile ceremonies where appropriateWork with colleagues to achieve deployment workflows in the most appropriate way for the project, including CI/CD automationStay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in developing codeApply Credera methodologies, frameworks, and delivery standardsBe passionate about security best practices and comply with industry standardsMaintain a high standard of quality and professionalism in all client interactions Knowledge and skills 6+ years of professional experience in full stack development with proficiency in a variety of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frameworks (next.js React), and back-end development using technologies such as Node.js, .NET, and C#.Experience of developing API integrationsStrong knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL)Integrate and manage headless CMS platforms (e.g. Sitecore, Contentful, Sanity) to deliver seamless content experiencesFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, APIMs and open source methods such as GraphQLUsed a range of code repositories, (e.g. Bitbucket, GitHub, Gitlab)Have relevant knowledge of cloud native servicesCan develop pro-active approaches to assess and maximise code efficiencyConducts clean code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peersDemonstrated success in developing and maintaining code within a team environment for enterprise-level clients and grounding of branching strategiesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilitiesGood verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex messages and concepts clearly and effectively, able to engage stakeholders at all levelsAbility to work independently within a defined workstream and escalate issues as necessaryStrong organisational skills, balancing multiple priorities and deadlinesWorks effectively and managing pressure in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, dynamic environment Education and experience Familiarity with marketing, customer, or digital systems in a client facing roleWorking within an IT Consultancy or Systems IntegratorExamples of developing code for critical applicationsKeen to explore and embrace AI practicesCoding certificationsDegree level qualification in computer science, engineering or technology related fieldYou must be an Australian Citizen for this role (due to client requirement) Location This is a Sydney or Melbourne based position Who we are Credera is a consulting firm focused on strategy, transformation, cloud, data and engineering, with over 500 consultants around the globe.
