THE ROLE Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, product designers and business stakeholders on Lumi’s proprietary lending, risk management and customer service systems, building a shared understanding of customer and business needs.Design and deliver effective technical solutions using TypeScript and React, participate in code reviews and contribute to team agile ceremonies.Contribute to the continual improvement of our platform’s performance, scalability and maintainability.Explore and apply AI technologies where they can improve customer outcomes, internal processes or engineering productivity. THIS PERSON IS SOMEONE WITH… 3+ years experience developing applications with TypeScript and React.Strong full stack engineering fundamentals and experience working with distributed microservices.Disciplined engineering practices, including unit and integration testing, code review and consideration of security and reliability.Strong problem-solving skills including exploring options and weighing trade-offs to address business needs.An ownership mindset, supporting solutions through development and in production.Experience with, or curiosity about, using generative AI tools effectively as part of the software development.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a desire to learn, share knowledge and support others.
