You can find more about ACC and the work we do at www.acc.co.nz About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi As a Senior Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, building and supporting digital solutions that help ACC deliver better outcomes for New Zealanders. Working within our Digital Value Stream, you'll contribute to the ongoing development of ACC's web platforms, helping to improve security, performance, accessibility and reliability for both our customers and our people. Through modern full-stack software development, you'll contribute to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between. The appointing salary for this role is $103,645 to $126,677 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance. About you | Mōu You will bring: Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including Scrum, SAFe or similar methodologies.Strong software development experience using technologies similar or transferable to those used at ACC, including React, TypeScript, Redux, Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, SQL and Maven.Experience working with enterprise platforms and engineering practices, including OpenShift/Kubernetes, Web APIs, SQL databases and CI/CD deployment pipelines.Practical knowledge of software design and quality principles, including SOLID, REST, automated testing, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).Experience designing, developing and maintaining automated unit tests, including the use of mocking frameworks.Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.Understanding of networking principles and how they support secure and reliable web applications.Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.A collaborative approach, including mentoring and supporting other developers while contributing to positive team outcomes.Experience with Azure DevOps, Elastic Cloud, Bootstrap, Sass or LESS would be advantageous.You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.Working at ACC | Mō ACC At ACC, we embrace the rich tapestry of Aotearoa New Zealand's cultures and are dedicated to providing equitable opportunities.
