Description

Cloud Engineer We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to support a major GCP migration programme for a FinTech organisation. You’ll be responsible for helping migrate existing applications and infrastructure into Google Cloud, building secure, scalable cloud environments and ensuring workloads are production-ready within a highly regulated financial environment. Key experience: • Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience • Proven experience delivering cloud migration / modernisation programmes • Building and managing GCP infrastructure using Terraform / IaC • GKE / Kubernetes and containerised workloads • GCP networking – VPCs, load balancing, DNS, connectivity and firewalls • IAM, security and access controls • CI/CD and deployment automation • Monitoring, logging and observability • Experience migrating production workloads with minimal disruption • Strong understanding of cloud security, resilience and high availability Experience working within FinTech, banking or other regulated financial services environments would be highly desirable.
