Senior Software Architect — FlowTC Remote · Full-time · Equity + competitive comp About FlowTC FlowTC is a multi-venue institutional OTC platform for large-scale crypto-to-crypto swaps. We give institutions and private brokers two paths to settle: an automated OTC engine that sources and executes trades over a defined window, and an escrow-based instant settlement layer for counterparties who already have a deal in place — every transaction verified on-chain. We're expanding into new institutional partnerships and scaling the platform's architecture to match. The Role We're looking for a Senior Software Architect to own the technical direction of FlowTC's core platform — from swap execution logic to the on-chain settlement layer. You'll work directly with the founder on architecture decisions that carry real capital risk, not toy problems. What you'll do Design and harden the architecture behind OTC and escrow swap execution — throughput, correctness, and failure modes all matter at institutional trade sizesLead technical decisions across the full stack: backend services, smart contract layer, and on-chain settlement verificationOwn security and reliability posture for a system that moves institutional-size capitalEvaluate build-vs-integrate tradeoffs as we add new chains, custody integrations, and institutional partnersMentor and eventually help build out the engineering team as we scaleWhat we're looking for 7+ years of software engineering experience, with real architecture ownership (not just implementation)Strong background in blockchain development — Solidity/EVM required; Solana experience a plusDeep experience with backend systems at scale (Node.js/TypeScript ecosystem — Fastify, Prisma, or equivalent)Track record designing systems where correctness and security are non-negotiable (fintech, trading infrastructure, or similar high-stakes domains)Comfortable operating with high autonomy in a small, fast-moving team5+ years of experience in RustNice to have Experience with OTC, market-making, or settlement infrastructureFamiliarity with custody solutions and institutional trading workflows
