Job Title: Junior Developer - Winter 2027 Co-op
Department: IT Infrastructure
Location: Toronto, ON (On-Site)
Wage: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
The final hourly rate will be determined based on the candidate’s year of study, relevant experience, previous co-op/internship experience, and specialized skills.

You will support the development and enhancement of internal applications, APIs, databases, and reporting tools while collaborating on real-world business solutions.
You will also gain exposure to AI initiatives, including workflow automation, prompt engineering, and AI-powered applications.
What You Will Do
Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal applications and software solutions.Support database development, data integration, and automation projects.Develop and enhance web applications, APIs, and reporting tools.Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and application issues.Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members on development initiatives.Assist with system integration projects and process improvements.Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and tools that may improve business processes and operational efficiency.Support AI-related proof-of-concept projects, including data preparation, prompt engineering, workflow automation, and AI-powered application features.
What You Will Bring
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, or a related field.Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, TypeScript, or JavaScript.Understanding of software development principles and object-oriented programming.Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
