Description
We are looking for a hands-on Software Developer to join our Digital Solutions team.
Unlike traditional software companies, we develop applications that are used directly in our production, logistics and operational environments.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across the entire lifecycle of digital products, from identifying business needs and shaping ideas to developing, deploying and continuously improving solutions.
As the first dedicated developer within our Romanian organization you will have significant ownership and autonomy in shaping local digital solutions, while collaborating closely with our Group IT and AI team in Austria.
Many projects start not with detailed technical specifications, but with real business challenges and operational needs.
Success in this role comes from understanding those challenges and transforming them into practical, reliable software solutions that make everyday work easier and more efficient.
Some of the projects you may contribute to include:
o Internal AI-powered assistants, knowledge tools and intelligent automation solutions;
o Body measurements applications, using computer vision to turn camera images into measurements to garment sizing;
o Fleet monitoring and management applications;
o Equipment and logistics data collection solutions;
o Process automation and workflow optimization initiatives;
o Integrations between business systems, production environments and data platforms.
You will work closely with colleagues from operations, logistics and production, gaining first-hand insight into the processes your applications support.

Overview of Key Responsibilities:
o Design, develop and maintain applications that support production, logistics and business operations;
o Participate in all stages of software development, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment and support;
o Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, automations and data flows using Python, Django, FastAPI or similar technologies;
o Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges, define requirements, and translate ideas into practical digital solutions;
o Troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve existing applications and integrations;
o Contribute to technical decisions, architecture discussions, documentation and best
practices;
o Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes through technology and
automation.
Key Competencies and Required Experience:
o Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles, with ability to
translate business requirements into clear technical tasks, guide AI coding tools and
review and validate the resulting code;
o 3 years+ of practical (hands-on) software development experience with shipped
applications, integrations or automation projects;
o Strong Python skills and experience with Django, FastAPI or similar backend
frameworks;
o Experience with REST APIs, system integration and troubleshooting across different
platforms;
o Working knowledge of databases, ideally MySQL or MSSQL; NoSQL experience is
considered a plus;
o Familiarity with Git/GitHub, issue tracking, Agile workflows, scripting, maintenance,
troubleshooting and debugging;
o Interest in applied AI, LLMs, automation, internal knowledge tools or AI-supported
workflows;
o Ability to turn ambiguity into a plan by challenging vague requirements and
proposing sensible solution paths;

ownership and follow-through.
