About The Role As a DevSecOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. The client’s Information Security organisation protects a technology-led, cloud-native platform serving millions of customers across multiple markets. The client is building security into the foundations of how they design, engineer, and operate their cloud-native platforms at scale, across the client's technology organisation. The Security Engineering team builds the tools, guardrails and controls that let every engineer at the company ship secure code, over 100 times a day. As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you'll design, build and run the security solutions for 1st and 2nd line InfoSec teams and wider engineering community rely on daily, from vulnerability scanning and access monitoring to AI security guardrails. You'll work hands-on within the client's global Security Engineering team, turning security policy into code and every engineer into a security-conscious one. Responsibilities Design, build and deploy security controls and guardrails across company cloud-native platforms, including AI security solutions protecting customer-facing productsRun password audits, network and web application vulnerability scans, and intrusion detection to identify and close gaps before they're exploitedAutomate security processes as code, embedding compliance and IaC checks into CI/CD pipelines shipping over 100 times dailyConduct risk audits and assessments, translating findings into practical recommendations for engineering teamsMonitor and analyse system access logs, flagging anomalies and supporting incident responsePlan and test security backup and disaster recovery processes to keep client’s platforms resilientPartner with 1st and 2nd line InfoSec teams as customers of your solutions, translating technical work for product and engineering audiences Requirements Practical experience writing and deploying applications or tooling into cloud-native environments AWS, Azure or GCPStrong, demonstrable skills deploying AI security solutions, guardrails, and defences for AI systems used by customersProficiency in at least one of C#, Python, Java, PowerShell or Bash, with a track record of automating security processesWorking knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and Compliance as Code practicesComfort operating in Agile, DevOps-driven teams with frequent, continuous deliveryConfident stakeholder management, translating security risk and technical decisions into language product and engineering teams act onA collaborative, evangelist mindset, building trust so others choose secure defaults rather than having security imposed on them What’s in it for you?
