We would like to meet a Lead Frontend Engineer for a hybrid project based in Coimbra, Viseu, Lisboa or Porto.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional front-end development experience, with at least 2 years working extensively in React.Practical experience integrating AI features into front-end applications.Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing a team of engineers (formally or as a tech lead).Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern React (hooks, context, component patterns), and CSS/styling frameworks.Solid understanding of front-end architecture: state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query, etc.), routing, performance optimization, and testing.Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development practices.Strong communication skills and the ability to balance hands-on coding with people leadership.A track record of shipping production-quality software in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) is a plus.Fluency in English.
