We're hiring: Platform Engineer / SRE, Global Operations
Soho Square Solutions is looking for a Platform Engineer to join a Global Operations team building internal developer platform capabilities for a BFSI client.
This role sits at the intersection of cloud operations, DevOps, SRE, and platform product thinking.
You'll design self-service infrastructure, reusable automation, and golden-path templates that let product engineering teams ship faster without sacrificing governance, security, or cost discipline.
What you'll do
Lead modernization work using a Current State / Desired State approach, turning operational pain points into measurable platform outcomesBuild and operate internal developer platform capabilities that abstract infrastructure complexityCreate golden-path templates and automation for app onboarding, provisioning, CI/CD, observability, and security controlsDevelop platform tools, APIs, CLIs, and reusable Terraform modulesPartner with security, architecture, SRE, and operations teams to embed guardrails into platform workflowsMaintain CI/CD and GitOps deployment practices across production and non-production environmentsEstablish monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, SLOs, runbooks, and incident response practicesParticipate in 24x7 on-call rotationWhat you bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience7+ years in DevOps, cloud operations, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineeringHands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or a similar cloud platformDeep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation) and GitOps/CI-CDA production ownership mindset.
You've run systems in prod, led incident response, written RCAs, and designed SLOsNice to have
