Description

Our client is a fast-growing international space technology company developing innovative satellite-based connectivity solutions. Its mission is to help bridge the global digital divide by expanding reliable broadband connectivity to areas that remain underserved by traditional telecommunications infrastructure. As part of its continued growth, we are looking for an OSS Automation Engineer to join its Latvia Design Center and take ownership of network and ground-segment lifecycle automation. Key responsibilities Develop and deploy automation workflows within an OSS environment.Build integrations across network, cloud and operational systems.Translate technical requirements and architecture specifications into robust, production-ready code.Develop integration tests, regression suites and performance benchmarks.Contribute to design and code reviews and maintain technical documentation.Collaborate with international teams to deliver reliable automation solutions. Requirements 3+ years of experience in network automation, network/software engineering or business process automation within a live operational environment.Strong Python or Go skills.Hands-on experience with Temporal, Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions.Experience with Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM or network APIs.Knowledge of Kafka/Protobuf and AWS fundamentals.Understanding of FCAPS / fault and alarm management.Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus or similar observability tools.English B2+.
