Software Engineer C++ Amsterdam | Full-time Are you an experienced C++ Software Engineer looking for an opportunity where you can work on challenging technical problems and have real ownership over your work? Our client is a growing technology company based in Amsterdam, developing sophisticated software solutions used by international customers. The company combines software engineering, data and advanced analytics to help businesses make better decisions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Software Engineer C++ to join the development team. 💰 Salary: €3,450 – €3,850 gross per month Important – Work Permit / Sponsorship Please note that we are unable to provide visa or work permit sponsorship for this position. You must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands without sponsorship. Your role As a Software Engineer, you will work on the development and improvement of the company's core software platform. You will be involved in developing new functionality, improving existing solutions and solving technical challenges. Because the company has a relatively small engineering team, you will have plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas and see the direct impact of your work. Your responsibilities Develop and maintain software primarily in C++Design and implement new functionalityWork with large and complex datasetsImprove the performance, reliability and scalability of the softwareInvestigate and solve technical problemsWrite and maintain testsWork closely with other software engineers and colleagues from different teamsTranslate business requirements into effective technical solutionsContribute ideas to improve the overall product What we're looking for We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in writing good software. You have: Professional experience with C++A relevant technical or university degreeA structured and analytical approach to problem-solvingThe ability to work independently as well as part of a teamGood communication skills in EnglishA willingness to learn and develop your technical skillsExperience with web technologies such as React is a plus, but not essential.
