Mid-Senior Frontend Developer (React / Node.js)

Front End Developer (React & Node.js) Location: Fully Remote (UK) Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Job Type: Permanent Build Modern Digital Experiences We're looking for a talented Mid-Senior Front End Developer to join a growing engineering team building modern, scalable web applications used by customers across the globe. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced React developer who enjoys creating intuitive user experiences while also having the opportunity to contribute to backend services using Node.js. Working as part of a collaborative Agile team, you'll play a key role in developing new features, improving existing products and influencing technical decisions. The Role As a Front End Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing high-quality user interfaces while working closely with Product Managers, UX Designers and Backend Engineers to deliver exceptional digital products. You'll have the opportunity to work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to architecture discussions, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop modern, responsive web applications using React.Build reusable UI components and maintain scalable front-end architecture.Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js where required.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive user experiences.Consume and integrate RESTful APIs.Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers where appropriate.Contribute to technical design discussions and architecture decisions.Work within Agile Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software.Continuously improve application performance, accessibility and usability. About You You'll be passionate about front-end development and enjoy working in a collaborative engineering environment. You'll ideally have: Commercial experience with React.js.Good experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.Experience developing backend services using Node.js.Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design principles.Experience consuming RESTful APIs.Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.Experience using Git and modern development workflows.Understanding of testing frameworks and best practices.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Experience working within Agile teams.
