About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Frontend Engineer to lead the long-term technical vision for frontend engineering at ClickUp. This strategic and hands-on leadership role involves defining architectural strategies across major product surfaces, solving complex technical challenges, and influencing how teams build and ship scalable solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, design, backend, and integrations to ensure that ClickUp’s frontend systems remain fast, reliable, and adaptable as the company continues to grow. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with the ability to operate at both strategic and implementation levels, especially in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Your leadership will help shape the future of our frontend architecture, elevating quality, performance, and developer productivity across the organization.
