About The Role In this role, you will build network automation capabilities for a large-scale cloud transformation focused on a Cloud Management Platform and Software-Defined Data Center. You will deploy Cisco NSO, develop reusable automation services, and connect network, security, virtualization, and load-balancing platforms to enable reliable end-to-end infrastructure orchestration. Responsibilities Install, configure, and support Cisco NSO in a highly available enterprise environment.Develop NSO service packages, workflows, and reusable automation use cases for infrastructure provisioning.Integrate Cisco NSO with a Red Hat-based Cloud Management Platform and third-party enterprise systems.Automate the provisioning and configuration of network, security, virtualization, and load-balancing services.Build and maintain integrations with Cisco ACI, VMware vCenter, Cisco FMC, F5 BIG-IP, and core network infrastructure.Apply YANG models, Python, REST APIs, NETCONF, and RESTCONF to create scalable automation solutions.Test and troubleshoot automation workflows, integrations, and platform configurations to ensure reliable operation.Produce technical documentation and deliver knowledge transfer to engineering and operations teams. Requirements 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing Cisco NSO and delivering network automation solutions.Advanced proficiency in Cisco NSO administration, service package development, Python scripting, and YANG data modeling.Strong knowledge of REST APIs, NETCONF, RESTCONF, and network automation frameworks.Practical experience integrating network, security, virtualization, and infrastructure management platforms.Working knowledge of Cisco ACI, including APIC or NDO, VMware vCenter, Cisco FMC, and F5 BIG-IP.Solid understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, VRFs, ACLs, NAT, and Layer 2 and Layer 3 data center services.Experience using Git and version control within collaborative engineering workflows.Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, cloud management platforms, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, or DevOps practices.Cisco DevNet, CCNP, Cisco NSO, or a comparable certification as an advantage.
