About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to join a product team developing an AI-powered workforce intelligence platform for the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.
You will be responsible for building and deploying production-ready AI solutions across candidate matching, semantic search, recruitment intelligence, RAG and agentic workflows.
This is a practical product engineering role suited to someone who enjoys turning ideas and prototypes into reliable, scalable software.
Key Responsibilities
Build candidate matching, ranking and semantic search systemsDevelop LLM-powered applications, including RAG and agentic workflowsBuild AI-assisted search, screening and recruitment workflowsProcess and structure CVs, profiles and other unstructured dataDevelop backend services, APIs and data pipelinesIntegrate AI capabilities into full-stack applicationsDeploy and maintain production AI systems using cloud infrastructureImprove AI solutions for reliability, performance, latency and costImplement evaluation, guardrails and error-handling processesWork with structured and unstructured data to improve intelligence and matching accuracy
About You
2–8 years of relevant commercial experience in software engineering, AI engineering or ML engineeringStrong Python and backend/API development skillsProven experience building and deploying production AI systemsPractical experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG or agentic applicationsExperience with RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search and rerankingUnderstanding of LLM evaluation, structured outputs, prompt management and guardrailsExperience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWSExperience with Docker, CI/CD, logging and monitoringExperience with PostgreSQL and/or vector databases
Desirable Skills
